Rapper NLE Choppa has continued to show love and support for the LGBTQ+ community, sparking further attention with a recent post on X (formerly Twitter). He shared a couple of selfies with the caption “I’m Coming Out…” which led many to speculate that he might be coming out as queer. However, in a follow-up post, NLE clarified that he was simply announcing the release of his new music, saying, “Out… with ‘Or What’ !! (OUTNOW)” and teased his upcoming “Slut SZN Project” for September 27.

While the rapper hasn’t come out as queer, his ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community has been consistent. Back in April, he acknowledged the community’s love for his song “Slut Me Out 2,” tweeting, “I’m noticing the LGBTQ+ community showing so much love to ‘Slut Me Out 2’ and I simply want to say thank you… My music is for ALL, we do NO discrimination.”

When someone questioned his sexuality in response, NLE Choppa shut down the homophobic comment by saying, “I’m gay for showing love? Y’all men lost… the same ones that get down like that be hiding it! Me saying thank you got nothing to do with my sexuality.”

He further demonstrated his appreciation by performing at Atlanta Black Pride, where he addressed his critics, saying, “If you’ve had something to say about me these last six months regarding if I’m gay or if I’m this or that… Well, this might make you more mad… I’ll be showing love to the LGBTQ+ community for being one of the best audiences that’s been streaming ‘Slut Me Out 2.'”

NLE posted a video of his performance at Pride and expressed his feelings on Instagram, stating that as an artist, he’s learned to appreciate anyone who loves his art. He added, “We all fight acceptance… God is love and love brings unity. I am a heterosexual male, and if you are secure in that, what’s the issue?”

Though he’s not coming out as queer, NLE Choppa continues to share his respect and support for the LGBTQ+ community, earning admiration for his openness and inclusivity.
